Q + A

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?

The attire for our wedding is black tie optional! For gentlemen, tuxedos or can opt for a dark suit. For ladies, formal (floor length) evening gown, a shorter cocktail dress, or dressy separates.

DO I HAVE A PLUS ONE?

In order to keep our guest list on track we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. All available plus ones are indicated on your formal invitation in the inside envelope! If you have been given a plus one or have additional family members who are invited, please respond for everyone through your RSVP return mailing card.

WHERE ARE YOU REGISTERED?

Please do not feel like you need to give us a gift. Your love and support over the years has been the best gift of all. Being older we really don't need much. The only thing we might need is some help merging houses and making room for "Ms. Anne" in the Conley house of boys!

CAN I BRING A GIFT TO THE WEDDING?

Honestly, your presence is present enough, but should you wish to bring a gift to our wedding, there will be a gift table for your convenience.

CAN I TAKE PHOTOS FOR SOCIAL MEDIA DURING THE WEDDING?

We would absolutely love for you to take pictures during our special day! However, our ceremony is strictly unplugged. Absolutely no photos during the church service as it is a sacred event. We ask that you please silence and put away all cell phones during the ceremony. We have a great photographer who will capture ceremony photos beautifully. If you take photos before or after the ceremony at the reception, we would love for you to post and share them with us! More on how to share your photos in the future.

IS THE WEDDING INDOORS OR OUTDOORS?

Our wedding is indoors. The ceremony will be indoors at St. Paul's Anglican Church. The reception will be indoors at Younts Conference Center at Furman University. Weather permitting there will be a cocktail hour before the reception OUTSIDE at Desantis Pavilion next to the conference hall. The patio and pavilion will be open for your usage if at any point you need a breath of fresh air during the evening.

Are children invited to the wedding?

As much as "Auntie Anne" loves her babies, children are not invited to the wedding unless they are part of the wedding party or have been given permission to attend. This is an adult event... with adult beverages.
